Twin Peaks, By Vogue Australia
Its not so much of the photography of this editorial that I'm a fan of its the styling. I'm not saying that the photography is bad or poor in anyway I still think its really good but there's something about it I not a fan of. Maybe its because in women's editorials I like them looking sexy, and this is more classy. The styling Is what I like about this editorial, the whole 60's feel to it I'm really feeling.
Anna de Rijk Brings the Heat To Spanish Haper's Bazaar
I have never really been a fan of Harper's Bazaar, not saying that I have ever really read it but it would not be the first fashion magazine that I would pick up out of choice. Spanish Harpers Bazaar seems to be alot moving on to a different wave length then US publication, the US version is Celebrity driven rather then it purely being about the photography and styling. Anna de Rijk is the model in the editorial with it being shot by Spanish photographer, Txema Yeste. I like the photography style with it catching the mood and making it look effortless. Styling is by Juan Cebrain and its so good!!! Its like Matador meets punk! The crucifix shoes, BAD! My field is men's wear styling being my stronger point but this women's wear styling is a lot to appreciate.
Beyonce Covers Dazed and Confused
July's edition of Dazed and Confused sees Beyonce grace the cover of there music issue. The shoot is set in a trailer park and sees the star wearing designers such as, Tom Ford, Riccardo Tisci, Gareth Pugh, Haider Ackermann, Stafano Pilati, and Marc Jacobs. Beyonce looks out of this world sexy again, I have to say. I never really rate the things she wears, on the red carpet she does not really look to scratch and on her normal day to day life shes not the best dressed. But since she has come back on the scene with her new video and this editorial, it looks like she is working with the right stylists. Keep up the good work Lol.
Burberry Autumn/ Winter campaign 2011
Its like Burberry just come back stronger each season, I like the fact they have brought brightness to your dark grey winters. Maybe this injection of winter colour will brighten up everyones moods. The suiting looks very dapper I must say, my favourite are the bright orange wool jackets. It also looks like Burberry have brought back the horse to there check bag! Looks like there going back to the 90's, or there pre chav era.
